About Me

In the insurance industry, it’s often said that no one ever chooses a career in insurance. A connection, a situation, a circumstance – something happens that causes the most random person to fall into a career in insurance. And so it was with me…

I became one of the top life insurance agents in the country for MetLife during my first year in the business (and the trip to the Bahamas was lovely!). After doing a short stint at Nationwide, I worked for 10 years at an independent insurance agency near Chicago where I earned a CISR designation.

I’m an accidental freelance writer who writes about all topics, and I specialize in insurance.
